Important Notice: Due to the high number of covid infections amongst our clinical and admin staff, calls will take longer to be answered at the moment and you may have an increased wait for an appointment.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and ask you to bear with us during this difficult time.

Thank you.

Appointments

We operate an appointment system. If you require an on the day appointment please call as soon after 08:00 as possible or come to the surgery at 08:00 as these appointments often go fast. If you have an emergency which cannot wait, a doctor is always prepared to see you. Please be advised that you may be offered a telephone appointment in the first instance and if the clinician will need to see you this will be arranged accordingly.

If you wish to speak with a particular doctor at a specific time, we recommend you book well in advance. You will understand that we cannot offer a wide range of appointments to patients booking only 24 hours ahead.

Our receptionists are instructed to ask for a brief reason of the problem you are calling for so they can navigate you to the right clinician.

If you or your child has a rash or infectious disease, please inform the receptionist on arrival. If you have a problem you suspect may take longer than usual, please ask the receptionist to book you extra time.

Patient Access

Patients are now able to book telephone consultations online. Please register with the Patient Access to use our online booking service.

! Please note that if you need to register for online services you have to fill out the "Online Access Application Form " available to download here:Online Access Application Form  and bring it to the surgery alongside a form of ID and proof of address (issued within the last 3 months). Online consult

Patients are now able to use this service to contact the Practice about medical or administrative queries and prescription requests. The system is called Engage Consult and you can start using it by clicking here and completing your registration details.

Any queries received via engage consult before 11.00am on a surgery working day will be dealt with and responded to on the same dayNot all medical queries will require a GP appointment, however where an appointment is required a member of the Practice team will be in contact to arrange a phone call or face to face consultation.

Please be advised that there is a limited number of queries (including during the weekend) that can be received by practice on a day. When you are not able to submit the request, this means the message box has reached the capacity of requests.

Please wait at least 24 hours to receive a response from the surgery before you submit a repeat enquiry.
